Terms of Service

Drafty is a matching service. We connect homeowners with independent local window and door installation companies that we have vetted for liability insurance, WSIB coverage, and a written workmanship warranty.

We do not perform installations, measurements, or repairs. Any quote, contract, warranty, schedule, or work you receive comes from the installation partner, not from Drafty. Your agreement for the actual work is between you and that company.

You pay nothing to use this site, get matched, or receive a quote. Installation partners pay us a referral fee, the same way they would pay for advertising. You are never obligated to accept a quote or hire anyone we match you with.

The price ranges published on this site are educational estimates based on typical Toronto projects. They are not offers or guarantees. Your actual price comes from the partner who measures your home, and we do not control or guarantee partner pricing, availability, timelines, or the outcome of any work.

We check our partners' insurance, WSIB coverage, and warranty before matching, and we remove companies that generate unresolved complaints. That vetting is a screening process, not a guarantee of any particular result. Do your own diligence before signing a contract, as you would with any contractor.

When you submit the quote form, we share your details with one or more vetted installation partners so they can contact you. How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drafty is not liable for any damages arising from work performed by installation partners, from your reliance on the educational content on this site, or from your use of the matching service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero.

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top tells you the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
